Lady Fit @ Resurgence Gym

On Wednesday, March 8th we had our third Lady Fit class. To mix things up, I decided to introduce the group to resistance with weights. There was an interest in training with a few of the group members. Seeing that was a good suggestion, I created the class design for a group fitness weight training class. I took the group through a full body routine. Starting with the upper body muscle groups and then transitioning to the lower body muscle groups.

Muscles Worked:

  • Back
  • Chest
  • Shoulders
  • Biceps
  • Triceps
  • Glutes
  • Quadriceps
  • Hamstrings
  • Calves

After the weight training session we did the core training portion of the class.  Then we concluded with a cool down.  The class went well for a first time session with weight training.  The group did really well and were enthusiastic through the session.  I am looking forward to the growth of this class as we move into the spring and summer months.
